American Society of Lymphology
Connecting Lymphology Professionals and Patients
The American Society of Lymphology (ASL) was formed as a direct result of repeated requests by physicians, therapists, and nurses nationwide for quality resources, legislative action, reliable information and educational and treatment standards for medical professionals.
Increasing awareness of debilitating chronic angiogenic disorders, such as lymphedema and venous disease, creates a greater need for comprehensive and universal standards of care, education and treatment.
The board and membership of the ASL seek to actively cooperate with other organizations towards similar goals. Believing that each organization has opportunity to contribute significantly to the emerging field of lymphology, the ASL does not intend to compete, but compliment current efforts being made in this emerging medical specialty.
In support of The Lymphatic Research Foundation (LRF), The ASL donates funds designated for research. For more details about this important organization, visit http://www.lymphaticresearch.org/
