I have a question

Postby Vicki » Mon Mar 17, 2008 12:13 pm

I have bilateral lymphedema and I'm finished with therapy and now wearing compression pantyhose. For the past few weeks, my right knee has been very sore. Is it possible that I may have developed some fluid on my knee because of all the lymph fluid moving around?
Thanks for any input.

Hey Vicki :)

There could be a couple things going on.

If your knee is extra tight/swollen and painful, it is possible that a fluid overload occurred at the knee.

However, it is also possible that the sorenes and pain could be due to incorrect wrapping. My knees are the very worse area for giving me problems from wrapping.

In this case, I would really recommend letting your therapist know and seeing if they want to take a look at it.

Let's wrap and roll
