glossary:xeroradiography

The process of making a type of dry x-ray in which a picture of the body is recorded on paper rather than on film. High-definition X-ray photography: a high-definition X-ray photography in which the image is first made on a specially coated metal plate and then transferred to paper. It is often used in screening for breast cancer.
